Who am I?

Hola hola! My name is Guido Stefanuto. I have a great passion for History, Geography, Engineering, and many other topics. I have chosen Engineering as my profession, covered my house with maps, and so History deserves its place on my shirts haha. These designs came from different inspirations from History videos, books, objects, with the only connecting thread being that the idea of making that design seemed fun in the moment.

I would be delighted if people enjoy my work and want to have it printed themselves. The images on the gallery have watermarks for obvious reasons, but if you wish you can request me for the clean versions at my email address.

I would also be delighted interested in projects pro-bono for museums or non profit organizations. I don't have a problem making money out of it, of course haha. But I would like to keep this activity as a passtime.

Some of my shirts were made in collaboration with History with Cy, a great content creator who is one of the main reasons why I got so passionate about bronze age history. I would suggest anyone interested in Ancient Mesopotamia, the Levant, Egypt, Greece, Indus Valley, and the Bronze age in general, to take a look at his videos. Some of our designs are also available at his store.

I have been studying Middle Egyptian and hieroglyphic writing for the last couple of years, with some success. I have followed an advanced online course from the University of Cambridge, but mostly used books and studied on my own. I have briefly gotten familiarized with Akkadian and cuneiform writing, but only for identifying certain texts and trying to not make too embarrasing mistakes on my designs.

By the way, if you liked the loading animation made with the Mayan Haab signs and wanted to see it for longer, you can see it here.
